Q: 72 year old male with history of myasthenia gravis is now admitted with GI bleed. You are writing orders and converting essential meds to IV form. What is the conversion from PO to IV of Pyridostigmine (Mastinon)?

Answer: Conversion is 1/30th of PO dose.

e.g: 90 mg would be equivalent to 3 mg IV. Inravenous form should be given preferably via slow infusion.
